Hey, I'm Kovu, a 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur, and I've got quite a story to share. My journey started on the side of a highway in DeRidder, Louisiana, where the sweetest lady found me. She couldn't keep me, but I'll forever be grateful that she gave me a chance at a better life. I spent a good amount of time in foster care where I learned essential skills like potty training and walking on a leash properly.I'm a friendly pup, especially with female dogs, though I'm not so keen on male dogs. Kids are my favorite! I adore them and am very gentle around them. I've been neutered and am up to date on all my vaccines. Now, I'm all set for my forever home.
